New Balance 9060 X Concrete U9060IAB: Pros and Cons

The New Balance 9060 X Concrete U9060IAB sneakers are a modern take on an everyday city pair, where comfort, a bulky silhouette, and practical materials take center stage. This model from the NB 9060 line is made for those who value a secure fit, soft cushioning, and a calm grey palette that easily works with a daily wardrobe.

Comfort and Technology

The U9060IAB design focuses on foot support and long-distance comfort—from city routes to a packed day on the go. The soft inner lining reduces pressure on the foot, while the outsole helps distribute impact more evenly while walking. Thanks to a well-judged balance of lockdown and flexibility, the New Balance 9060 Concrete stays comfortable throughout the day and doesn’t require a long break-in period.

Key technology features:

• An anatomical fit and a stable sole base for confidence with every step.

• Soft cushioning that helps reduce fatigue during long walks.

• Textile zones improve airflow and comfort in warm weather.

• A low-cut profile maintains freedom of movement and makes the pair convenient for everyday activity.

Thanks to the thoughtful internal fit and pleasant underfoot softness, the New Balance 9060 X Concrete works well for both women and men who want comfort and stability without excessive stiffness. It’s a practical option for spring–summer, the in-between seasons, and generally for year-round wear with proper care.

Materials and Appearance

The upper of the New Balance 9060 combines leather and textile: leather adds structure and durability, while textile makes the fit feel more “alive” and helps maintain a comfortable microclimate. The Concrete version’s grey color looks restrained yet expressive thanks to the play of textures and the silhouette’s layered, voluminous details—making the pair equally appropriate for minimalist looks and streetwear outfits.

Materials used in the New Balance 9060 X Concrete U9060IAB:

• Leather upper elements for resistance to daily wear and shape retention.

• Textile inserts for breathability and all-day comfort.

• A durable outsole designed for urban surfaces and an active pace.

The U9060IAB design is built around a chunky yet carefully balanced shape and a neutral color base. The grey shade pairs easily with jeans, cargo pants, sweatpants, hoodies, and jackets, while the multi-layer panels give the sneakers volume and character without excessive brightness.
